The events at the Ellicott City are truly devastating and sad for our community. It was truly shocking to start our Sunday morning with the images of destruction and the news of all that had been happening right down the street from us. However, we stand together as a strong community, organization, and team ready to support in all ways possible.
Throughout the day on Sunday, CAC President-Bita Dayhoff was in touch with Councilman Jon Weinstein and the County Executive’s office and extended our full support. Collectively, it was determined that at this point CAC would serve as the main repository for food donations and potentially other donations.
