HOW TO APPLY FOR ENERGY ASSISTANCE

In person - Offices at Gateway or North Laurel-Savage Multi Service Center

By Mail - If you received MEAP/EUSP assistance last year,
an application will be mailed to you. If you have not received the application or need immediate assistance, please contact the CAC office to request an application.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Picture Identification for applicant and spouse (if applicable).

  • Social Security Cards for all members of the household.

  • Proof of gross income for 30 days prior to date of application.

Pay Stubs

1 if paid monthly, 2 if paid bi-weekly or twice a month, 4 if paid weekly.

Letter on employer's letterhead indicating gross income for the period.

Social Security, SSI or Pension Award Letter.

  • Lease

  • Utility bill or statement.

  • Fuel Oil bill or statement.
