Community Action Council is a non-profit 501(c)(3) agency. Donations to the Community Action Council are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. You can make a donation several ways:

Donations to One Month's Rent (OMR) Initiative

The One Month's Rent (OMR) Initiative helps Howard County residents who are threatened with losing their housing due to a personal, economic, or medical crisis. OMR has helped more than one hundred families stay in their homes. Please note that PayPal currently imposes a 2.5% fee for on-line donations. The fee will be deducted from your donation. Also note that 100% of donations made by check go to the people in need. If you wish to donate by check, please click here.

Donations to Prepare For Success

Prepare For Success is a county-wide partnership that provides school supplies to low-income students in the Howard County Public schools system.

The Food Bank accepts donations Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm. We are located at 8920 Route 108, Columbia, MD 21045.
