Food Bank Community Garden

The Community Action Council of Howard County, along with Howard County Executive Ken Ulman, Senator Benjamin Cardin, Councilmember Calvin Ball, the Department of Recreation and Parks, and the Columbia Gardeners, dedicated the county's new community garden plots on June 5th, 2010. The plots are located at the Long Reach Garden at 6110 Old Dobbin Lane, Columbia. The garden includes five plots that will be used solely to grow produce for the Howard County Food Bank, which is operated by the Community Action Council of Howard County.
